Who we are.
A team of environmental scientists, polymer engineers, laboratory technicians and marketing experts, committed to assisting brand owners and manufacturers achieve better environmental outcomes through the adoption of biodegradable packaging. The partnership of Planet Green Corporation and Wells Plastics brings together more than 30 years of experience in the plastics industry, providing sustainable and technical solutions for many of today’s environmental challenges. With ISO certified manufacturing and accredited laboratory facilities, we are able to design, develop and manufacture products to the highest industry standards. We can also provide in-house testing and Reverte modifications to meet the specific needs of our valued customers.
Surveys show Australian consumers have a strong preference for packaging made using biodegradable and recyclable materials. Reverte also provides your brand with a lost cost point of difference over your competitors to win both the retail customer in a crowded category and competitive supplier tenders. Many of our customers have seen a measured increase in sales after adding Reverte to their packaging and gaining the benefit of our environmentally friendly marketing claims.
Easy to Use
Reverte is incredibly easy to use and means there is no need to change suppliers or any of your manufacturing processes. It's so easy we've had customers go from trials to full production in as little as 2 weeks. Reverte is a pelletised masterbatch additive so it's added to the plastic during production in the same way you would add a colourant or processing aid. It doesn't require any changes to manufacturing process settings.
Reverte offers the best insurance policy for your brand and the environment if the packaging accidentally ends up as litter. When it's exposed to extended periods of sunlight it sets off a chain reaction that makes the packaging biodegrade up to 100 times faster than normal plastic. Now that's Pretty amazing!
Reverte is fully compatible with recycling programs and can be placed into the normal home recycling bin. The recycling facilities don't have any issues processing our biodegradable technology. In fact, we supply Reverte to the largest packaging manufacturers in Australia who also own recycling facilities.
How we work.
[dropcap]1[/dropcap] The first step is to get in touch and tell us about your project! We'll learn about your packaging objectives and go through any questions you may have about the technology. We'll also provide independent scientific evidence and can discuss case studies on how we've helped Australia's biggest brands implement biodegradable packaging to increase their sales.
[dropcap]2[/dropcap] We'll arrange for a free sample of Reverte to be sent to your manufacturer. We already work with a large number of manufacturers in Australia so there is a good chance we will already know them and if not we'll happily meet with them to discuss how easily Reverte can be added to your packaging.
[dropcap]3[/dropcap] After your manufacturer has trialled adding Reverte we'll work with your sales and marketing team to ensure you maximise the benefits of your new environmental claims via inclusions on packaging and in marketing material. Once your new environmentally friendly packaging is on the shelf we'll only be a phone call away if you have any questions.
